Once again we went to the Monster Truck Show. Marci & Maddie stayed home, Maddie was too little (7 months) to go to this. So it was just Riley & Daddy. We had a blast! First we went to the Party in the Pit. Here they had all of the trucks and drivers so you could see them up close, Riley even touched a few.
Then we had a nice pizza dinner, watched them get things setup, watched the smaller pickup trucks and ATV's take some test runs, then the main show started. I was sooooooo glad we had our Bose noise cancelling headphones! What a difference! When I didn't have mine on, I had a hard time hearing Riley talk. When I put them on, I could actually hear him better.
We saw one break a whole bunch of parts off a rear axel, one get stuck trying to jump over a van, Blue Thunder flip over, and Grave Digger wow the crowd. It didn't seem as good as last year but we still had a great time and Riley can't wait to go back next year.
